Ana Paula García Benavides (b.1996, Monterrey México) is a London based artist.
My work explores the materialization of internal emotional states, focusing on what remains unspoken, unresolved, or difficult to articulate.
Through gesture, layering, and colour, I translate moments of vulnerability, tension, and introspection into visual form. The paintings operate as spaces of encounter, where the viewer is invited to confront emotional states that are often hidden or suppressed.
Rather than offering narrative, the work functions as a sensory and psychological experience, allowing the invisible aspects of human emotion to surface.
